Terms of use

Use this portal to explore training and prepare your next steps. Content is provided for information. Admission, recognition of acquired competencies and financial assistance decisions belong to the responsible organizations. External documents remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Privacy

The proximity search, budget, pathway questionnaire and admission and placement question lists use your choices only in your browser, without transmitting or storing them on the site. The selected list is kept on your device only if you download it. The portal does not store your searches. Links to official services open their own websites, where their privacy policies apply. No external translation or audio player service is loaded.

Current coverage

Two language versions of one program are available. The catalogue will grow progressively from verified sources.

The displayed codes, titles and order follow the 2025 ministry PDF tables, visually checked by the assistant. Original listing values are preserved separately. Each competency’s duration is suggested; detailed content and its hierarchy still require review before publication.

Check the source listing for admission requirements, centres and applications. Seat availability is not confirmed on this portal.

Information you can trace to its source

The pilot uses Inforoute FPT, the education network platform linked by Québec.ca. The Ministry of Education develops the official program frameworks.

School directory

Open data from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Adaptations: selection of vocational training records, field normalization, grouping by school code and coordinate projection to WGS84. A school–building relationship does not confirm that a particular program is taught there; some buildings are administrative or residential. The public network’s language is not used to infer the language of a training offer.

228 schools and 852 relationships or installations listed in five vocational training register layers.

Complete programme directory

343 language versions are available in the directory. 2 have competencies and durations checked against ministry PDFs. Other references come from the existing Parcours catalogue; their original observation date is unknown. Their qualification, duration, credits, current availability and competencies are not presented as verified.

Some codes may refer to an earlier version. Confirm the available version and admission conditions with the school. Imported references retain their snapshot SHA-256 hash in Agora; an import date does not replace an observation date.

Admission guide: references and scope

FR/EN editorial summary of general DVS admission pathways. Checked by the assistant on October 7, 2026; specialist human review is still required. This guide is not an admission decision and does not list each program’s prerequisites. AVS, STC, specific bridges and immigration procedures have their own requirements. The school verifies the file, recognized equivalent learning and applicable conditions.

RAC and further studies: references and scope

FR/EN editorial guides checked by the assistant on October 7, 2026; specialist human review is still required. dep.quebec does not automatically recognize competencies. The RAC service decides on recognition and missing learning. Fees, timelines, conditions and local services must be confirmed. RAC availability is not inferred from the school register. These guides confirm neither a bridge for 5388/5888 nor authorization to practise a regulated trade.

Financing: references and scope

FR/EN editorial guide checked by the assistant on October 7, 2026; specialist human review is still required. The portal determines no assistance or individual eligibility. Responsible organizations assess the file, amounts and whether assistance can be combined. School fees are not assumed. The local budget only calculates amounts entered for one month; it does not simulate student financial assistance or verify combinations of assistance. Blank or invalid entries prevent a complete calculation. Amounts from $0 to $1,000,000 per item, up to two decimal places. Entries are neither transmitted nor saved; changing language or reloading the page resets the budget.

Placements and ATE: references and scope

FR/EN editorial guide checked by the assistant on October 7, 2026; specialist human review is still required. Checklists help prepare discussions with the school. The portal confirms no ATE offering, placement or pay for programs 5388/5888 or schools in the register. Applicable protection and conditions depend on the placement; no individual decision or work authorization is provided. Immigration requirements must be checked separately with the competent authorities.

International students: references and scope

FR/EN editorial guide checked by the assistant on October 7, 2026; specialist human review is still required. Authorities assess applications. Schools in the register are not automatically identified as DLIs; no international offering, exemption, authorization or PGWP eligibility is inferred for 5388/5888. Application caps, institution restrictions, fees, financial evidence and timelines must be checked through official services when applying. Conditions depend on program level, program, status and dates. Official lists and instructions are not reproduced in full. The portal collects no immigration documents. A French reference is used for quota exemptions; the guide’s English text is editorial.

Proximity: data and method

Institut de la statistique du Québec (ISQ) et ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MRNF) — CP Territoires, 2026-08. Data based on the Référentiel québécois des adresses, under CC BY 4.0. Adaptation: active points selected and compact index by postal code and municipality; multiple points and valid withdrawn codes preserved.

220695 active codes and 240822 points. Source accessed on .

Local calculation using the spherical Haversine formula, mean radius 6,371.0088 km, rounded to the nearest kilometre. NAD83 postal points and WGS84 ministry sites are used for an estimate without a precise geodetic transformation; no route calculation, survey accuracy or guaranteed error bound. For each starting point in the selected municipality, the closest registered site of each school is used; the range shows the minimum and maximum of these estimates. Sorted by minimum, then maximum, then code. No first point or geographic average is implicitly selected. School board boundaries do not filter results. A registered site does not confirm where a program is taught.

The complete index downloads from the site at a constant URL; no entered code or prefix appears in the request. This search uses no account, geolocation, storage, cookie or submitted form. Clearing, reloading or changing language resets the input. Missing codes, uncovered postal boxes and historical codes do not produce an invented location. Five malformed historical codes, 1,108 impossible dates and 31 missing historical names remain in private review; no guessed correction or withdrawal date is displayed.

Competency profiles: references and scope

46 contextual profiles in the pilot’s 5388 and 5888 versions. Titles, codes, sequence, indicative durations, credits and objective types come from verified PDF summaries. Identity combines the program language version and competency code; a matching code does not establish equivalence or recognition of prior learning. Detailed trees of statements, contexts, elements, phases and criteria remain in private review and are not published by this explorer. No mandatory/indicative classification of these unpublished blocks is assumed. Questions offered to students are editorial.

Search and filters stay in browser memory, with no account, transmission or stored input. References below use PDF page numbers, which differ from printed page numbers.

Pathway questionnaire

Portal editorial rules checked on October 7, 2026, based on the admission, RAC, further studies, financing, placement and international study guides documented on this page. Each answer adds a resource with an explicit reason; answers produce no score, admission decision or diploma or competency equivalence. Studies outside Québec do not determine international status. The catalogue remains a pilot and the directory does not establish a program offer.

Catalogue sectors and filters

Sectors read on the ministry PDF covers, visually checked on October 7, 2026. The grouping of the two titles below is explicit and applies only to the pilot versions. Regions and course formats are not inferred from the sector or school register.

Catalogue input is local. Only the create-link button puts filters in the URL fragment. This fragment is not sent in the HTTP request, but is visible in browser history and to recipients of the link. No application storage or external sharing service.

Program comparison

The comparison tool uses the same validated versions and PDF summaries as the program profiles. The pilot’s two versions belong to the same program, with an explicit language relationship. Competencies appear in independent lists, in ministry order and with suggested durations; they are not automatically matched. Missing prerequisites, offers, intakes and occupation indicators are unknown, rather than numeric zero. Relance statistics under review remain excluded. Preparation links containing a program code are public and visible in the address; subsequent choices and searches stay local and are not saved.

Guidance and support: references

FR/EN editorial content checked by the assistant; human review is still required. SARCA supports education and career planning and refers people to relevant resources. The regional directory is in French. No service, appointment, accommodation or funding is confirmed for a registered school. The school explains available services and procedures. The portal collects no personal needs or records.

Questions about continuing training: references

FR/EN editorial questions prepared by the assistant; human review is still required. The general context of support during studies comes from the ministry page below. The questions do not reproduce an official form or confirm services, accommodations or assessment procedures at a particular school. Choices are neither transmitted nor stored by the site; reloading or changing language clears them. The downloaded file stays on the person’s device.
